I’m sure there are many opinions as well as facts as to what a life well lived truly is. In this write though it’s just my thoughts. So join me in this: To me a life well lived means you take accountability for your words and actions. Nothing is greater than admitting you were wrong even if it doesn’t bring you satisfaction. To me a life well lived means many a failure along the way. Let’s face it; success doesn’t happen all within one day. A life well lived means you do your best to get along well with others. I know from experience this isn’t always easy though we’re all sisters and brothers. A life well lived means you took calculated risks no matter the cost; knowing that it’s okay to say you lost. A life well lived means being there for your family. Even though you’re worlds apart; you love them all sincerely. A life well lived to me means laughter along with tears. Holding onto Faith while letting go of all your fears. Having the courage to have the conversations that are most important yet difficult just the same. Knowing that your Heavenly Father is with you through sunshine and torrential rains. A life well lived means you apologize for your mistakes. Try to make amends if you can; whatever it takes. A life well lived isn’t always about wealth; though money is important; never more so than your health. Maybe you have your own idea of what a well life is; and quite possibly you will start your own poem expressing this!
