I sat and imagined if I could look and see, maybe only for a second, a world I didn\'t have to pay to be. Consequences from actions I always take, but never the fines on paper, or the privilege to have the best. I give payment in labor and sweat, from my blood, soul, and bones. I give all I can. Each portal I find, letting go of time. I\'m sorry I never had enough to buy more peace of mind. As I continue to float but swim upriver, until I reach or go back to the other side, my ink will never forget what I remember.
