Good Loving
Love is but a dream of an ideal of perfection.
Nothing ever compares to the in-your-head collected information.
Where thoughts are formed comes only chaotic lightning strikes.
A relaxing norm is seen as boring, so you chase a life which excites.
The passion erupts like a supernova explosion in space.
It lasts a little while until the reality shows its face.
And over there is the love you turned away.
It waves you goodbye never to be seen again.
Still you search for one true love,
Which only lasts one month until the fun is done.
You move on and years later when you want to settle down,
The love you really wanted is nowhere to be found.
You are a volcano, leaving lovers under your ash.
You chose your lovers and there is no turning back.
Your image has flown around the world, your small town.
Now everybody knows what comes from your love now.
You are a train wreck waiting to happen,
On a collision course with failure.
You pray for someone special,
Ignoring all those who cast you no favour.
Under your foot is the real love,
Which you use as a stepping stone,
To chase a high flying kite which just looks good.
It is always out of reach.
Maybe already under another’s illusion.
You will never find the true love that you seek,
Because love is a collection of your life’s conclusion’s.
So pity the fool who has fallen in love,
With a simple being who just needs to be loved.
All they have is each other’s good loving.
They will never realise there is more to life than a good love thing.
