My limbs are shivered.
There’s food that exist
but I choose to resist.
I feel beautiful and healthy
Sadly, it does not show
I feel my pedals slowly falling
I choose to ignore
There’s food on the plate in front of me
But I chose to shiver and root
For my pollen that will smell like cheap perfume
I’ve chose not to eat because I heard other flowers say to me
that this way the florist would choose the most beautiful flower
In the whole shop
But no matter how you shiver and root
You’ll never be chosen to be in the spot
