The burning ashes of my body
That rose from deep within,
The pigeons tottering outside my window
Gleaming at the Sun that is burning me.
I steal glances at the mantle piece
As the world goes beyond my eyes deep into darkness
Deep into the relentless running mill.
The lilies, the tangerines, the beautiful Bougainvillea
Yet I see the monsters flashing their bloody eyes
I see the concrete that scarred me from behind.
The tapestry that I dance to
Under starlight that deceives me
The humming of the birds
The transient yellow world that slips through the blinding glass
I see him standing with the door left ajar
As I slip and fall, humming his favourite songs ear to ear.
It all becomes a big black visage
Of the man I loved the most
And the man that led me to my Mirage
The warm ecstasy of flimsy whisperers
That breaks my sleep at dawn
Since all hell shall break loose
Let it all be lost within
For I shall remain defeated to none
But only to my lover\'s guilt.
