I share my memories with you.
I recall the land of the purple heather and pipers in gifted style
Lock N ess with waters dark and green,
Where Nessie is claimed to be seen;
Morning mist in all its glory
Only adds excitement to the story.
The tartan battle glen and field where spirits linger still
Along with snow-covered mountains and gorse hill.
Scottish whisky swallowed by the dram
And haggis and totties and fields of lamb
The Curse of the Kelpies Tale
That hides in dark waters with an unearthly smell
Yet through the mist, the sun does rise
Followed by a new day and maybe a new surprise.
Our hearts tremble with mountains so high
That shed the snow and clouded sky
Field shared by a Highland koo
And scented heather and phases like ock aye the noo.
There is many long trails with ghosts upon the moors
Men of courage who fought the cause, ock aye the cause for Freedom.
