Pieces of Fate

 I

Beauty said, \"Hello!\", today and I
embraced her with a kiss. I planted
it right on her nose, the middle of
her face, just so I wouldn\'t miss.

All too often when you close your
eyes, Life goes on and you wonder
\"Why\"?

When you think you have all
the answers and are bursting with
pride, Life comes around again in
different form, laughing in Wisdom as
you cry!

So kiss her before she gets away.
Don\'t wait till tomorrow or some other
day. The Sun sets faster soon, watch
the twilight fade.

In a moment all will be known as you look
back with startled eyes at the \"Life\" you
have just saved!

II

I turned out the light and was left
alone, in the dark, with myself.

I\'ve always known I was there, but
only now at the end of the day, in
night\'s silence, did I recognize
myself with all my senses, that I was
whole.

During the day, I seemed scattered;
with one sense strongly leading me on,
alternating with the others to carry
me through Life\'s long hours of
confusion till sleep.

Sight motivated me with her
brilliance; brightly portraying Life\'s
natural works of art, her power
dominating my being till I turned my
head or closed my eyes in order to
tear myself away from her tragic
beauty; as if it were a sweet lie
meant to trap a child with his own
curiosity!

The sound of thought was all I
could hear now; mad echoes of my soul
taunting me with shouts of doubt,
guilt and shame of my actions d\'jour!

There was no feeling, no touch or
interaction; only the cold air
deadening my skin with her ghastly
embrace of emptiness.

There was nothing I tell you!
Nothing!

This was NO! Utopia, this...this
...Nothingness!

So in a rage of confusion I burst
from my sanctuary of silence and
darkness and ran out into the howling
night of crowded streets and false
lights.

And as I fell to my knees in front
of the first stranger I happened by;
she spit upon my face and laughed at
my disgrace.

And as her thick saliva
crept down my flushed cheek, I burst
into laughter and once again felt a
part of the Human Race!

 III

I suppose we will all sell out in
the end, when we finally figure out
that our Life has no value to anyone
but ourselves while we\'re alive.

 IV

Anyone can do a dance a Freedom,
but not everyone can Free themselves!

 V

To kill someone with searing,
calculated precision through the
Media must be the easiest way to snuff
out a life.

To expose the very secrets of a
person\'s Soul, leaving them a
transparent, macabre worm feast,
beating Death to his craft!

We might accidentally commit
Genocide through the toxic emission of
careless words waiting to poison us
all!

Beyond shock-proof! I suppose the
only victors will be those still left
standing after the moral, spiritual,
and intellectual holocaust has
collected her chosen ransom and moves
on to digest future ignorance!

To die a thousand deaths beneath a
few words is such an \"unseen Hell\"
that Satan himself takes notes on it!

We birth new evil from his destiny
seed that will eventually fester into
uncontrollable corruption!

Eventually?

 VI

Have you ever poked a hole in your
consciousness to see what lies behind
the veil of Twisted Truths?!

 VII

Without symbolism, there could be
no respect. It would be impossible to
hold anything sacred!

I think Science and twisted forms
of Religion has destroyed \"Life\" by
defining and confining it to their
views and pushing their solutions upon
us all as the undisputed Law!

 VII

\"Tomorrow, tomorrow, where are you
for me?\" \"Only a day away\", it softly
whispers. \"As for right now, let it
be.\"

 VIII

If I have one regret, it is that I
have never loved.

True I have lived a full life and
experienced much, but nothing so
sacred that it caressed my Soul and
hushed my desire and doubt!

I am incomplete and will die thus!

 IX

Only Death can cure all ills,
except those which have inflicted the
Soul!

 X

In today\'s world of political and
religious idealism, it seems that most
people under its conscientious spell
are more interested in cause and
quotas than effect and purpose!

It all seems to me to be a waste of
time and energy because no one hears
a thing except what THEY THEMSELVES
are saying!

I can only laugh at them in their
confusion; sorry as I am to be in the
midst of it all!

 XI

        INSANE REFRAIN

Over the rainbow and out of our
minds, to the Insane Asylum we go!

The Men in White Suits say we\'ve
jumped without chutes and ran naked
through the streets in the snowwwwoh!
HEY!

  XII

The only true love I\'ll ever know,
I know, will never love me. She has
set her sights on purer ports, while
I drift alone in agony.

The farther I float from my heart\'s
true song, the closer I\'ve come to
realize...it is finished...gone.

O Love, how can you call yourself
so? Are you not one of the many masks
of Pain\'s true face?!

Kiss me before you go away, cleanse
my lips so I can face my future days.

My tears no longer hold meaning; I
cry but I don\'t know why! I once knew
what I truly felt, but now ...but
now...but...but...now...now...
all I can do is...sigh.

Hopeless abandonment of logical thought!
Isolation of the Soul!

Oh, Oh, Oh ... cease the flow!

 XIII

You can either learn to love or
remember that you hate! That choice
is up to you, and that choice will
seal your fate!

 XIV

 MORE PLAYGROUND PHILOSOPHY
           FROM YOURS TRULY

Life is like an Etch-A-Sketch! You
spend all your time making drawings of
everything you hold personal and dear,
until it\'s completely covered; not one
blank space! You\'re so proud of what
you\'ve accomplished.

Then one day, someone comes up to
you with a smile on their face and
snatches the etch-a-sketch from your
hands and shakes it violently, erasing
all that you worked so hard to
complete, hands it back to you and
screams, \"START OVER! It didn\'t mean
a thing!\"

And you cry yourself to Death in
wonderment of the vanity of it all!

 XV

I sit alone in an empty room;
nothing in it but a sweeping broom.

I put myself here to keep others away.
I lost track of how long I\'ve been
here in years, months, and days.

I used the broom once when I first
got here; the room was incredibly
clean during that first hour of fear.

Now I just sit in a daze and stare;
no longer praying for someone to care.

I have smothered myself with both
passion and pain, and will quietly
drown in Life\'s wrathful tempest, as
I mercilessly go ..... I.N.S.A.N.E!!!!

  XVI

Have you ever realized that we
never truly live - that Life just
moves in the Big Dance, choreographing
our every move with it\'s ever-changing
promptings?!

 XVII

Revolution is the joke a Society
plays on itself to draw people away
from the issues that are necessary to
resolve at that time.

 XVIII

Life is a wonderful concept, but we
have yet to figure out how it works!

 XIX

One night I crawled inside my head
and fell to my knees in fear! I\'ve
never been so close to the Truth,
alone with no one near!

 XX

I did my time in a bottle. It got
rather lonely in there; numbed my
senses so I didn\'t have to feel and
closed my eyes to Life because I no
longer cared!

 XXI

The younger years, when I didn\'t
know a thing, those were the happiest
days for me.

They said knowledge held the keys
to the Kingdom, but They never said
the Land was corrupt and unfertile!

Now, I am simply miserable in my
intellectual Hell; knowing, but
unable to do a thing about it!

 XXII

In the Ende, Life is but a

SCREAM!!

     A Whimper.

              and a sigh ...
We are born,

     we exist,

              then we die.

And in the Ende, we will

     all look back with a

              laugh or a cry ...

as we SCREAM! ! !

      Whimper ...

              and sigh ...

                   GOOD-BYE!
