Mirrors

A sandy beach,
Waves crashing ashore.
Foam settling in
And sticking to the gull\'s down.
Then erosion and a method of recycling.
The moon casts its reflection
On the pale body floating
On the liquid sheets.
A vivid dream of intercourse,
Then of the milk of life,
And raised nipples surrounded by the areola.
And this all happens around
The time of a child\'s birth.
The prodigal daughter
With the eyes of an enchantress,
The eyes of illusion,
And the power to walk through mirrors
To the other side.
She grows to be an enchanting seductress,
And has slept with
The rich man who has caused my pain,
And my agonizing death.
