Sunrise Sunset

The darkened sky starts to come alive

As first light appears

Casting shadows on the ground

Like a pair of Garden Shears

Nature awakens with a large smile

Say goodbye to the man in the Moon

Everything is coming alive

The light that shines now in full bloom

Flowers awaken with the Dawn

Their Petals open to the Sun

To let the morning heat in

And the Bess are beginning to hum

Birds now sing their daily songs

And a Fox is on his way home

Having roamed for most of the night

He’s weary and heading home alone

The big bright Sun shines up above

Makes the early morning fly

Soon will be daylight all around

On high will be a big blue Sky

As the day moves on and on

Fast approaching Sunset no doubt

Early evening soon appears

The Sun has lost some of its clout

The Red Ball seems to descend down from the Sky

The Horizon is set alight

With the sheen of the now dropping Sun disappearing

As we fast approach the night

Streetlamps light or way home

As the Moon comes out from his rest

And Shadows dimly disappear

With Birds heading home to their nest

Nature’s nightlife are all on the move

Seen clearly out in the Moonlight

All creatures of habit are they

And will be out on the prowl until daylight

As Day now turns into a dark night

And it’s time to rest our heads

Our only thought in our minds at this time

Is going off to our beds.
