All they see are the medals I hold.
All they see is how well I perform in matches.
All they see is how strong I am.
How dedicated I am.
How passionate I am about my life.
They call me talented.
Inspiring.
Motivating.
Focused.
Dedicated
But how do I tell them,
that there\'s still a little girl inside me,
waiting for a small word of appreciation
from the people who gave me life...
waiting for a simple hug.
How can I be enough for the world,
yet never enough for them?
Tbh, every victory feels empty.
Every medal.
Every achievement.
Every effort I put into sports or studies
feels meaningless.
What\'s the point of winning a gold medal
when the one thing I wanted most—
to make them proud,
to feel loved—
still remains unfulfilled?
What will I do of such name and fame?
What will I do
with thousands of strangers clapping for me,
when none of those hands, belongs to them?
How do I explain
that I feel like I\'m winning and losing
at the same time?
To the world,
I\'m a winner.
But in my own eyes,
I\'m just
a lost winner
