Sleep takes my hand..

Sleep takes my hand and I go to you,
Through silk soft velvet blue,
And misty sparkles of morning dew,
And in the quiet touches of a dream,
I pass the dancing of a moonlit beam,
And float with closed eyes in an airy stream,
Can tomorrow be as real
As to take this moment to gently feel,
And watch a rose petal humbly kneel.

We are together and the lighthouse is on,
And the seagulls in their dark wings are gone,
That lighthouse turns it\'s magic wand,
And we are both apart of the circle,
That makes the brick work wooden spiral,
turn our minds to see each other twirl.

Form the tempest I will ask the sea to bow,
And I shall be the one to know how,
All air, water, fire and earth in a rainbow,
The winds have joined in harmony.
For I journey past time and sea,
And with your light I open my eyes and see,
The leaves make a blanket on the tree.

Take all that is life and wrap it in cocoon,
To be open one day and fly like a butterfly,
Command the Sun and tutor the Moon,
And laugh at those afraid to die.
