A Pocket Full of Starlight

A cardboard box upon the floor

Is not a simple box no more!

It’s now a rocket, shiny white,

That zooms into the starry night!

I pop my bubble-wrap space boots on,

And wave to Earth—zoom! Now it\'s gone!

I dodge a chunk of floating cheese

And high-five alien bumblebees.

My co-pilot, a velvet bear,

Is floating upside down up there!

We land upon a purple moon

Where rivers taste like marshmallow spoon.

We do three flips and bounce real high,

And paint green polka dots across the sky.

Then dad calls out, \"Time for your bed!\"

So back to Earth I zoom instead!
