My Garden has a lot of visitors
Who seem to move in and make it their home
At night the garden comes alive
As they all wake up and begin to roam
My garden seems to be their sanctuary
A Hedgehog moved in not so long ago
A lovely creature like rotund ball was he
But soon he had a mate in tow
Now suddenly the one has now become five
A triplet of Hoglet’s seem to have arrived
It’s cute to see them out together at night
And to see that thy have all survived
I have a hidden trail camera that captures them on film
So I feed them every night
And soon they all arrive to feed
It’s such an amazing magical sight
I also have a Fox who calls in every evening
And I have captured him on film each time he visits
I put some food out for him to eat
Which he eats in a very few minutes
He has a shiny Orange and Red coat
White belly and black ear tips
Though he does not stay to long
He does make a few regular trips
One Day whilst the Hedge hogs were feeding
From the bowl of food I had put out that day
Suddenly a Rat turned up to help himself
I thought the Hedgehog would make him go away
But there they were one either side
Eating away oblivious to one another it would appear to me
I will never understand how this could take place
It just goes to show how strange Garden Creatures can be
There’s a little Robin who hops about at night
And an old Thrush who makes an appearance too
They seem to parade in front of the camera
Showing off that’s what they seem to do
When I retrieve my Camera every morning
It’s great to see all this garden activity
I feel privileged that all these lovely creatures
Should come and visit me.
