November Rain

Every tear falls,
like cold November rain.
Lightning flashes
and reveals my pain.

The deafening thunder
cries out your name,
As love\'s storm rages
inside me just the same.

The winds of desire
now begin to rise,
Dark clouds of longing
consume the skies.

The thunder grows louder
with each passing hour,
As I continue tremble,
beneath its relentless power.

The rain keeps falling,
yet I cannot hide,
From the raging tempest
that burns deep inside.

No shelter can save me,
no calm can restore,
For the storm that I carry,
That still begs for you more.

I pray for this storm to break,
As my dreary days  are long and bleak.
Just a break in the clouds,
My soul now seeks

So I stand in the downpour,
Arms open wide,
Still calling your name
To the unforgiving sky.

Let the winds cease their howling,
Let the thunders grow still,
Let the rain wash away
This ache that it fills.

And if morning should find me
Beneath clearer skies,
Let the warmth of your love
Bring the sun to my eyes.
