They say I\'m still in Love with you

They say I\'m still in Love with you

And Pine for a loving Word.

And since you left these feelings grew;

Such things are quite absurd.

And of you Picture beside my Bed

To ease my longing Pain;

I\'ll  knock such Gossip on  its Head:

I\'ve always liked the Frame.

They say I\'ve kept your Letters still

And to Burn would never do;

But the simple fact I never will:

The Ribbons are frankly New.

And the Watch you gave just suits me fine,

You\'d think I\'d sell for Scrap;

For it\'s a little bit Scruffed and it\'s losing Time:

But I always liked the Strap.

To  those Holiday Snaps in Sunny Spain,

They say I intend to keep;

Well I\'ve said before and I\'ll say again:

The Film was never Cheap.

As for that Collage of you and me

Displayed for Friends and all;

Its  hanging there so eyes can\'t see:

The Cracks along the Wall.

So truth is there for all to View,

The Reasons underlined;

All thoughts of you have taken flight-

And never grace my Mind.
