Monsters are still alive

Monsters in the dark, myths so called,
Can we break the ways so called?
Fangs and claws they use,
To rip your soul apart,
Feeding on the freakin\' blood,
Craving human flesh,
But were they really true?
Or were the myths half the truth?

\'Cause monsters are still alive,
Living among us.
You can\'t even recognize them,
Such is their disguise.

Every day I ask myself,
Standing in front of the mirror.
I stare at my very self—
\"Where are those monsters?\"

Are they even real?
Or was it a lie too?

Someone told me the truth:
Demons live in us too.
Humanity died, myths buried.

But the monsters are still alive,
Walking in sunlight,
Loving the moon,
Fearless of the sun above.

Not as the monsters of tales,
But as very humans.

\'Cause monsters are still alive
