The highway keeps on winding
Beyond what I can see

What freedom means to me.
The mountains in the distance
Stand quiet and alone
Like guardians of dreamers
Trying to find their way home.
Radiance of the moon so bright
Guide me through the longest night
And wherever this road may go
Only the wind and stars know
I don\'t need all the answers
Or a reason for the rain
Just the peace from knowing
Nothing good is lost in vain
The river keeps on moving
With a slow and peaceful smile
Just peace within my spirit
As I travel this last lonely mile
Moonbeam on the road tonight
My spirit flowing through the fading light
And wherever this road may end
