THE WEARY ANGEL

Snow it slowly melted
About the angels feet
The loneliness of life
In so many failed to keep
A longing, deepest longing
Just before hope dies
Dry your tears lonely angel
Wipe those marbled eyes.

Lifes troubled people
Need your blessing
Your gentle guidance
As more snow falls
From the forlorn
And forsaken
They need to
Hear your call.

Try to open
Heavy wings
That eternity
Has weighed down
Passing centuries
Turn as leaves
In Winters echo
And its sound.
