You had a book of poetry sitting beside you and you were humming a cute little toon.. I didn’t know what to do so I looked up to the moon and kicked a rock at the light pole, and in an instant, you turned around and stole my breath as you questioned if I had saw what happened.. We got lost in conversation about the mysterious rock, and as we got deeper into it you asked me to take a seat.. You looked at me in the eyes and said that I looked like I just died and came back to life, but nonetheless when I saw you all of my emotions and ambitions were ignited.. You fuel the fire beneath my feet because you always give me the motivation to go to the gym so that I can be your superman who rescues your heart from the trenches.. From your subtle hints to your playful jokes, I know that I will always love you because you took ahold of my hand and gave me a path for us to walk out of this prison cell.. With you, my heart is able to spread its wings and flutter into your soul because you have become my bride, my wife, my wonderful best friend, and my everlasting home.. You have placed so much joy into the palm of my hands because now you’re everywhere I go and this ring means that I’ll never let you go..
