What Can I Say My Love?

So many faces, and so many new
The one thing I wanted was you
Not in a weird way, but as a support
Then it grew into a longing and love

For two whole years,
we existed in the spaces between words,
in glances held a second too long,
in quiet smiles we pretended meant nothing,
while somewhere beneath it all,
my heart was already learning your name.

I wonder how many times
we stood beside each other
without knowing how close we were
to becoming something beautiful,
how many moments passed between us
with feelings neither of us dared to say.

I watched you from a distance,
quietly admiring the little things
the way you laughed,
the way your eyes softened when you cared,
the way you could make an ordinary moment
feel like something worth remembering.

And maybe you were doing the same,
loving me quietly from your own corner,
holding feelings you didn\'t know how to speak,
wondering if I ever noticed,
wondering if perhaps
I looked at you the way you looked at me.

Two years of almosts,
two years of wondering,
two years of feelings hiding beneath friendship,
beneath conversations, beneath ordinary days
until somehow, somewhere,
our hearts finally stopped being afraid.

And now I look at you
and wonder how we ever lived
without saying what was always there.
How did we spend so long
standing on opposite sides of the same feeling
without realizing we were both waiting?

What can I say, my love,
when words seem so small
compared to everything you make me feel?
How do I explain the warmth in my chest
when I hear your voice,
or the way my whole world seems softer when you\'re near?

You are the answer
to a question I didn\'t know I had been asking.
You are the person
I somehow kept finding my way back to,
even before I knew
there was somewhere for us to arrive.

I love the thought
that while I was secretly admiring you,
you might have been secretly admiring me too.
Two hearts quietly hoping,
two souls unknowingly waiting,
two people falling without ever saying a word.

And now I get to call you mine,
not because I ever expected it,
not because I planned for it,
but because somehow the universe
let two people who had been looking at each other
finally look toward each other.

I love the little things most
the conversations that last too long,
the laughter that comes so easily,
the moments when silence doesn\'t feel awkward,
because being beside you
already feels like enough.

I love knowing
there is someone on the other side of the screen
who can make my heart race
with a simple message,
someone whose words can turn
an ordinary night into something I\'ll remember.

Sometimes I think about those two years
and smile at how unaware we were.
How funny it is that we were both
carrying something so beautiful
without knowing that one day
we would finally have the courage to hold it together.

If I could go back,
I wouldn\'t change a single moment.
Not the distance,
not the waiting,
not the uncertainty
because every second brought me closer to you.

And maybe that\'s what makes this so special:
we didn\'t fall in love in one instant.
We grew toward each other slowly,
like flowers reaching for sunlight,
like stars appearing one by one
until suddenly the whole sky was glowing.

You became someone
I could never stop thinking about,
someone my heart noticed
before my mind understood why.
And now that you\'re here,
I don\'t want to take a single moment for granted.

What can I say, my love,
except that I\'m grateful?
Grateful for every glance,
every conversation, every little sign,
every moment that brought us here
to this beautiful place where I can finally love you openly.

You are more than the person
I secretly admired for two years.
You\'re the person I get to know now,
the person whose heart I get to cherish,
the person whose hand I hope to hold
through every season that comes our way.

And if someday you wonder
how long I\'ve loved you,
maybe I\'ll smile and tell you
that I think my heart knew long before I did.
Maybe it was hiding there all along,
waiting patiently for me to realize.

So what can I say, my love?

I could tell you that you\'re beautiful,
that you\'re precious,
that you make my days brighter,
that I adore every little thing about you
but somehow even all those words
still wouldn\'t be enough.

So I\'ll simply say this:

After two years of secretly looking,
quietly admiring,
silently hoping,
and wondering what might happen...

I\'m so grateful
that the person I spent so long admiring
became the person
I finally get to love.

And if I had to choose you
all over again,
through every glance, every year, every almost,
through every moment we didn\'t know
how close we were to each other

I\'d choose you.

Every time.

My love.
