Nor\'easter didst blow...

across the Atlantic seaboard
this last September 2026 week-end
while myself and the missus
(birds of a feather),
hunkered down under Milk Wood
while Dylan Thomas
penned the renown words
regarding poem of same name,
sometimes referred to Under Milkweed

\"Milkweed\" simply a common
mishearing or malapropism

where the golden rods are yellow
(from the poem \"September\"
written by American poet
and writer Helen Hunt Jackson)
daubed with a sheen
of an utter Martinesque
moniker of underground
electronic music artist
wondering if the first hoorah
hints of old man winter
making an early debut this year
two thousand and twenty six Orbitz,

\"after the common era\"

(the period from year one onward) CE,
which stands for Common Era

said concept and phrasing
behind the \"Common Era\"

originated with the German
astronomer and mathematician
Johannes Kepler,
who used the Latin phrase
annus aerae nostrae vulgaris
(\"year of our common era\") in 1615
and, another traditional equivalent
that covers the exact same timeline
(though with explicit Christian origins)
abbreviated with the letters AD,
which stands for Anno Domini
(\"in the year of our Lord\").

Sturm und Drang
a German phrase
that literally translates
to \"storm and stress\"
or \"storm and urge\",
commonly used today
to mean turmoil, chaos,
or intense emotional upheaval
ala meteorological phenomena

that shoe did sock the eastern coast
of the United States.

Where Nor\'easter on September 26th
hardest along the coastal areas
of New Jersey, Connecticut,
and New York
(particularly Long Island
and parts of New York City)
reminiscent and rivaling

Superstorm Sandy

struck the Caribbean

and the eastern United States

in late October 2012,
causing nearly $70 billion in damages
and becoming one
of the most destructive storms
in United States history.

the howling winds
mimicking screaming banshees.

a bit rattled after experiencing
bank fraud this past week

nightmare scenario
