My Wonders

To show up means wonders,

Through the breaks and the blunders

I suppose it\'s good enough

To be sitting with the rains of upcoming October

Pitter patter, yet it matters rather significantly

Starting to think about my life

After college

When I\'m no longer covered

By my parents health insurance;

When the Spring sings to Summer:

Daffodils will bloom and dress up for one another

And mingle among the Irises, Violets and Hyacinths at the Solstice Ball

Through the rain headspace and beyond;

Rather fond of the thought of having children

Fostering children feels like a calling

Without the falsehood lover requirement, in singlehood

I would love a family to show up

In whatever state that may be, my babies, I

Yearn to care for whoever you are and will be

Through your breaks and your blunders

(Rather, moreso my own)

I\'ll show up for you, my Wonder(s)
