Stretch from Earth to Mars

Guardians of the night

Twinkling bright

Diamond glints of a bright light

Hopefully will make a spectacular sight

Solitary and collective as they fly through the sky

A beautiful sentinel sight oh my oh my

Shooting trails of fire that doesn’t last forever

Clutching tightly to my wishes tonight whatever the weather

Clinging to my heart sleeping silently near the moon

What a shame the can disappear so soon

In velvet splendor, sending love to the sender who dreams?

Of meeting within the mesmerized starlight as it seems

Sparkling in my mind and eyes as I look to the sky

And wish, my thoughts drift to the one I love dear

To the brightest star by far that’s you my dear

It’s like a message being sent to the one who means the most

That is you the one I love, that keeps my heart engrossed

When morning comes all the stars are gone away

Leaving me to love you far another bright day.
