They burrow their way into your life using deception and false emotion,
Nothing is ever simple, who\'s getting off on the commotion?
Slowly taking you away from your family and friends,
Becoming dependable on the narcissist, only one way this ends.
Stage 3 - Devalue
Being devalued is devastating when there\'s no clear escape,
How much pummeling to the gut can one person really take?
Rushing around the house, cleaning up and still not appreciated,
Empathy is not on the cards, a distinct type of hatred.
Stage 4 - Discard
Thrown away and discarded, like some shit under a shoe,
Years wasted together, an utter shame what victims go through.
