Learn the rules
But question the chains
Study the roads
But wander the lanes
Know every lock
Every code
Every key
Then build a new door
Where others can\'t see
Learn how storms speak
How silence can sting
How winter takes leaves
Yet prepares them for spring
Learn when to listen
Learn when to lead
When words are a fire
When kindness is need
Learn from the losses
The cracks and the falls
Sometimes the break
Is what strengthens the walls
Learn the rules
The lessons
The tools
But do not become
A servant to rules
For wisdom is not
In obeying each line
It\'s knowing the limits
And when to redefine
