You are the transition
the next person
a go between that is in
multiple roles
the one there
even with no care to
notice.
You put out the fires
with hose water
to make ashes from
smoldered embers
others had no
clue that you were
blazing.
You hold it down
the rescue team
the lifeboat floats
with a strong anchor
for a sweet hero
a meek reserve one
like you.
