Tune: Sine Nomine
(\'For all the saints\') For All Saints Day/Hallowmas: Nov 1st.
Hebrews 12 v.22-24
************
For you are not come unto Sinai\'s mount
But to mount Zion, source of blessings fount
With saints innumerable, none can count
Alleluia, Alleluia!
And you are come unto holy city
City of the living God it sure be
His dwelling place now and eternally
Alleluia, Alleluia!
The heavenly Jerusalem descends
From God, comes to us, joy that never ends
Earthly believers song with angels blends
Alleluia, Alleluia!
It the festive gathering, assembly
And the church of the firstborn ones it be
They born from above, from all sin set free
Alleluia, Alleluia!
Their names written in heaven, registered
They come to God the Judge of all, His Word
Is Christ His Son, and they His voice have heard
Alleluia, Alleluia!
Here the spirits of just ones perfect made
Here Jesus the mediator displayed
Author of new covenant He outlaid
Alleluia, Alleluia!
His blood speaks forgiveness to us, it be
Sprinkled on our hearts, brings better things, see
Than old covenant\'s temporality
Alleluia, Alleluia!
