Grasping.
Grasping
for meaning,
understanding.
Cathedrals
hundreds
of years
in the
making.
Built.
Super
human
effort,
searching
for peace.
Peace of
mind.
Trying
to make
sense.
Needing.
Stabilizing
uncertainty,
fear.
Raison de d’etre.
Why?
What for?
Beyond.
Pray.
Building
meaning.
Generation
after
generation,
stories
told.
Meaning
manufactured.
Passed along.
Reimagined.
Embellished.
“Greatest Story
Ever Told”
Scaffolding.
Something
to steady,
grasp onto.
Mystery
still.
Stories
still flow.
Perhaps
always
will!
