Tune: St Cuthbert [Series; Hymns to Saints Tunes 17]
(\'Our blest Redeemer, ere He breathed\')
Psalm 61 v.1-4
***********
Hear my call, O God, attend to
My prayer I make to you
From end of the earth will I call
O hear me all
When my heart is overwhelmed I
To you for refuge fly
Lead me to the rock, that which be
Higher than me
For you have been a shelter for
Me, you my covert sure
A strong tower from enemy
You defend me
I will abide where you do dwell
And of your mercies tell
Will trust in shadow of your wings
Your grace peace brings
