Azul

BLUE

So very blue, in the sky, in the waters,
when the heart has grown weary,
the sea arrives and turns everything blue,
a water-washed life among the clouds.

 Before leaping into the river,
 from the bridge,
 into the current.

 In that moment,
from long ago, as a child,
when the river carried me on without mercy,
in the current that came and bore me away,
up and down, in that tidal surge of blue.

Within the bubbles of a fall into the water,
cold waters that let me see the sky,
that blue sky between the trees,
 the silhouettes of trees,
 in that air,
 impossible,
 within the blue.

 At the end,
 now I return,
 to drown in the air,
that heavy blue air of life,
 in life\'s maturity,
 this time waiting
 to fall at last
 into another river,
 drowned.

AZUL

 imposible,
 en el azul.

 En el final,
 ahora vuelvo,
 a ahogarme en el aire,
ese aire pesado azul de la vida,
en la madurez de la vida,
 esperando esta vez
 caer al final
 a otro río,
 ahogado.
