It’s most times black with yellow stripes all over,
And often with pollen grains its hairy back is covered.
As graceful as a swan,
It buzzes around the flowers near the pond.
The bumble bee is like an ant; it works all day,
For during the summer it has no time to play,
Gliding around each blossom hour after hour,
Busy collecting honey for the winter.
Pollinating each flower as it goes,
But the funny thing is …
It doesn’t even know!
