Spring enters so subtly....a mist,
Love wafting a sweet scent of Life:
We open our hearts eager to it,
As earth for the showers so rife.
Summer's sultry, pesty, yet free,
Brazenly bold, too short, yet long:
Life flourishing, Love ripening,
Playful, lazy, romantic song.
Autumn's a'flurry of harvest,
Pungent leaves crackling underfoot;
Eager in Life's abundant fruits
Love's heart now quiv'ring in smudgy soot.
Winter cruelly chills, but snowflakes sweet
Delicately soften brief death:
Life buried, Love longing, we muse......
Bare world frost exquisitely decked.
