Cheeky Missy

Mine.....

"A Fortnight of Valentines"---my latest (crazy)whimsy....a collection of sappy sonnet (attempts), fraught with redundancy, and so hastily executed and crafted by imaginative fancy as to hopefully not be too repulsive to the reader.  And yes, fairly UNedited, presently.

Day five

(sonnet attempt # XXXIII)

XXXIII

No battle of wills, but a lovely thing,
Belonging to you defines me anew.
A daughter, and sister, my own bear too,
Now you call me "Mine", identifying
We are together now in ev'rything:
I'm not just me, you're no longer just you,
It's "us" and "we" now in whate'er we do,
Grand new horizons thereby unfolding.
A new day, birds singing, the winter is past,
Sun's shining brightly, a whispering breeze
Foretells in the mists swirling....hearts entwine
Like vines and tenaciously e'er hold fast;
And e'en when battered by tumultuous seas
Remain claspt fore'er.....I'm thine, Valentine!
