Distraught
In moments of weakness I say what I don't want out,
Then fear and paranoia of what will be said about.
You promise no one will ever know what was said,
But your promises to me are now dead.
You told almost right after my confession,
Your word is full of lies and deception.
I now fear I may be treated,
My love of live possibly defeated.
Finding ways to enjoy what I have left as mine,
Saying it but not meaning the words I'm fine.
