CLIII
Oh fluffy pillows bathed in lunar glow!
On moonlit sea, a silent scene so bright,
Fluorescent rainbow tints in its pearl light:
The faintest pink and faded saffron beau
With peach and soft steel blue in hues that flow
In gentle blends around th'orb's icey white,
Huge flecks of clouds like ocean's foam the night
Sky fill, immobile ripples, still as snow.
The darkness laced, each contour shows against
Their brilliant frosty shapes illumed in state;
An awesome, breath-taking display commenced
When velvet cloak descended, next that great
Yet lesser light her silver sheen dispensed,
The world awash and heavens too, sedate.
