Deflated?

(sonnet # CCII)

CCII

What's left to gain but what I've had ere now?
Of glory, praise, I've tasted, earned, received
For naught, which wasted in Time's course and grieved
Me by their loss. In chasing dreams below
Fair moments whiled away, which I but know,
Nor grasp completely what was lost, deceived
By their allure. And naught can be retrieved,
But that I learn to see, in Truth endow
What's left to me. The future's bleak, though day
And night cheer with creation's sweets, for no
Hope here remains, nor ever did; the play
Of dreams' dear tease still calls and clings, although
I know they're vain. Sufficient is the sway
Of now. To seek Thy face, turn me to go.
