(sonnet # CXC)
CXC
Of mice and men or many things we may
Muse mayhap, merry; meet or muddle, more
Or less; might sophistry make much of; or
Merge music with mere madness; mean dismay
Might's merits? Marvelous. In matches, yea
Bemuse, as mating mixtures most before
Meld, mould, and use? By mental games deplore
The Lord's true wisdom, masterf'lly we sway.
Amazing 'tis, the measures to which man
Through hist'ry chases, never reaching truth,
Yet seeming to, most think. Demanding an
Assurance he can see, though nigh forsooth,
Yet blind; malaise admit, we miss, might pan
The depths of. God instructs man from his youth.
