Cheeky Missy

To the Lowly...

(sonnet # CCXXXIX)

Soft sweeping e'er anon in routine dance
Across the polished surface' gleaming white,
Lone dancer in that hearty play by night
And day, midst foaming seas, o'er the expanse
Now sailing with such ease, advance and prance
O'er crevices and boulders with delight,
In darkened corners gently pry thou sprite,
And tango with romance, ballet perchance?
Mint's cool refreshing breezes waft, imbue
The air with liv'ning traits, enhance the show,
As lab'ring to cleanse foulest tracts, renew
In that mundane task pearly whites to glow
In fair pink beds with freshest scents. Pursue
Dear toothbrush lowly, make them bright as snow!
