Jalso

I've come home

This body, bearing me

Holding me tightly until I take my leave

This body, tempting me

Holding me eternally, hold me until I find my way back home

Sway with the rhythm of death and defiance

Take my hand lead me, on the road to Zion

Tell my story, my parable

Tell them how I raised my fist to the gates and shouted

“I’ve come home now!”

Tell them to swing to the song, to the dance, the sounds
that I have

I haven’t told you when to stop, just let me in

They ring the bells, they shout to they’re neighbors,

They tell the king to be blind and to listen

“He has come home now”

I stand at the gates of death and defiance

The rhythm is slow, low and drowned by shadows

Fetch me my father and mother, I’ve come home now
