It was love

It was love
The smiles we shared, that showed that we were not scared and we cared endlessly. So I thought. But as they say time heals everything, maybe love was my wound that the hands of time so carefully tended to as my sweet sweet memories faded, the Times we had traded we were sedated and blinded by a power we never minded but in our heart\'s mind no matter what we find we will stay blind because of the wound with which we call love. Time. In time it became overbearing on him as a whole and it took it\'s toll as it went on a roll and tore a hole through his poor poor soul. And the sickness of pain and stress began to press and press on heart till it became a plague that swiftly swept between his heart and mind as he wept and kept drilling himself into the depths that were as deep as the ocean. The commotion whirled through him now like a cold war leaving him there in a blank stare until he fumbles up the stairs into the kitchen where he looks into the counter and sees his hope. It was the pharmaceutical cope mechanism like dope it awoke his mind and he saw the peace he could have if he could pull together the strength to reach and pour a hand full of them into his hands. Two by two, like a story book he had read as a child about the strong hearted insect colony that marched but unlike this strong colony he was weak and it wasn\'t two legs he was moving it was two capsules he was shoving down his throat and drowning in water. the tears left his eyes for the final time as he reached double the overdose amount of those pills in hope it would assure his permanent sleep and keep the peace that had before only been a crease in his brain it was pain that was strain as he made his last attempt till his eyes closed and he passed out and dreamt. This was real he had done it now those last seconds so crazy and foul were replaced by the sleep he had longed for. But he realized he wanted more Because his heart was still sore. Then a miracle. His eyes opened to a beautiful new morning he had never felt before. His heart was no longer sore and inside the one that was calmed was the war. It was no more. He had forgotten about the pain and realized there was something more. A reason, something he still needed to be here for. It was love. A new love for himself he had found because of this profound ground that was now sound in his no longer wounded heart. It was a brand new start. He was here not to be loved or be in love but to give love to the beautiful world around him that he did not dare to see before. But now he had no despair and realized that people care and are aware of the love he needs to share. He can spread it now like the peaks of the grand canyon or the wings of the beautiful freedom bird that soars over its beautiful crevices. It was his reason. His meaning. The one thing he could change in this huge world. It was love.
