If life was just a poem
and love was just a dream
The world was full of happiness
and lots of soft ice cream
If life was just a happy place
where each one wore a smile
There would be lots of laughter
and grins would be in style
If life was all forgiving
and no one made mistakes
Then love would last forever
and no hearts suffer breaks
If all i said was true and real
and nowhere here was sad
Then that would be a dream come true
and we would all be glad
