Hurricane Alice has blown away
Leaving destruction in her wake
But it\'s calm and quiet today !
Roofs blown off and trees asway
Gardens and footpaths all did quake
Hurricane Alice has blown away !
When hurricanes blow there\'s a price to pay
And such an awful mess they make
BUT - it\'s calm and quiet today !
No one was killed I\'m glad to say
But cars were crushed and trees did break

Yesterday - my perfect garden went astray
Chairs and tables and pots did shake
BUT - It\'s calm and quiet today !

Just a blowsy girl for Heaven\'s sake
