I hold a glass of hope tight in my hand
With every passing second it gets harder to stand
Looking down at the floor at every hope spot
Dazed and confused at all the hope iv forget
As happy memories fade im grasping at air
Replacing lost hope with drops of despair
Like lost puzzle pieces never to be found
Tiny hope spots fade on the ground
This glass is getting heavy my hands begin to throb
Is holding this hope to big of a job
Now im getting shaky hands trembling in fear
As spilling the rest of my hope draws inevitably near
My thoughts suddenly become brilliantly clear
Holding onto hope is my own worst fear
