Death is nothing to fear
He can sneak up behind you and whisper in your ear
You never know if he’s six feet behind or six feet below
He can come as a surprise, with a neat little bow
Death can approach one or many
We want to stop him, to where he doesn’t approach any
He can’t kill us all at once
But he makes himself announced
Convincing others to do his work
Making himself known in New York
Leaving a scar, the U.S. will never recover from.
Even with New York, he is still the outcome
We send young souls directly into his arms
Yet all of them, one way or another, return
He may have brushed them with his hand
Or be holding a trigger that is planned.
Driving along down the dirt path.
They will never recover from the aftermath
Hiding in the dirt, like a coward fighting behind a wall.
He comes out with a loud bang which is usually his call.
Even without killing he can cause damage.
He will find your weakness and use it to his advantage.
After his call, he leaves his mark of scars on the heart.
With this all happening at once, it is very smart.
The moves executed with precision and precise planning.
Conducting all the tactics and all the mapping.
He has planned for this since the beginning, but we should not fear.
We don’t know when he will appear.
But what we do know is that when he does it’s our time.
As long as we have lived our life the way we wanted to then we had a good lifetime.
If he brushes with his hand then we are saved and he was just saying hello.
We never know
Until time is up.
