I created a monster
A monster straight from Hell
I\'ve got nowhere to run
Nowhere to hide
I\'m trapped inside my brain
And I\'m tortured with so much pain
Dark deceptive thoughts are unleashed
Night and day
No stopping
Not even a second
I am never free
The darkness is cold
Chilled and yet comforting
Something about this pain is relieving
I guess reality is too much
The monster inside
Born from within
To protect me from what is
By showing me what isn\'t
And somehow it makes life bearable
