Words Unspoken

All I see,
Is the one who I can\'t seek.
I see your body\'s elegant stare,
It clears away all the dark air.
My mind disappears,
In a cloud of nervous tears.
I seek to walk near,
The one who I gaze at every year.
I walk alone without a sound,
I only hear your voice through the crowd.
There is no hope in my body that has awoken,
My silent proposal is full of words unspoken.
I look upon each day,
As another one that got away.
I couldn\'t stay,
I just looked the other way.
I try to look at you and smile,
It takes me a long blushful while.
I had the chance,
To ask out pure elegance.
Chance after chance, fear after fear,
Words I want to speak are the ones you can\'t hear.
I beg for a heart,
But that only tears my confidence apart.
All I ask is that we\'ll listen together,
To the words you will cherish forever.
I want to stand with you side by side,
Hand in hand every day and night.
I want to be the one you can trust,
I want to be your one.
For I have been too scared to approach you,
There is something I must say here,
\"I love you.\"
