Jim, Dad, Grandad

What can I say to ease our pain at the sad fact we\'ll never hear your voice again,

Your stories of the past, the funny songs you\'d sing, your peculiar taste of jazz and swing,

You dreamed of being a millionaire the fact you weren\'t we didn\'t care,

You made us laugh, you made us smile

our memories of you are so worthwhile,

Your silly quotations of Oscar Wilde the stories you told of being a child,

It\'s so hard to believe you\'re really gone, the silence is deafening as you never stopped yacking on!

You really were one of a kind such a loving gentle kind of a guy,

Your love for my Mum was deep from your soul, it showed in your eyes without her you wouldn\'t have been whole

She stood by your side in your time of need she helped you carry on live life and believe,

We will miss you a lot and never forget the jokes we all had calling you a lazy get,

But we knew you were poorly and we understood you really meant well and your heart was good,

Life is a journey with chapters of past and special times that will always last,

You joked with Lennon about Liverpool and Leicester at least none of you supported Manchester!

Rodney would sit and chat with you but one things for sure he really got you,

Mason would visit and make you laugh with silly behaviour and being daft,

You\'d come home from work when we were small I\'d get so excited as you walked through the hall,

My Dad, my hero,

God you were tall

This is our goodbye

with love from us all

Rest in peace
