A dissolved placebo,
And a 5th at the corner of a glass.
A solem promise made to myself,
And a haunted life of everlast.
An unworded truth,
A silent victory.
A lonely conclusion,
A malboro lit for me.
I lean back in this chair,
Intoxicating black smoke fills the air.
I feel the fire, so much heat.
Its forgiving, almost bittersweet.
I hear the wood splinter, i hear
the cracks.
Its almost enough to take it all back.
But there is no surrender, no
room for regret.
I started a process, a hope for
new peace.
And as this house crumbles down
around me,
I know its close to the end.
A tear falls from my eye, as the
fire touches my feet.
And as the house collapses, a warm solem
blackness comforts me.
Her arms wrap me in fire.
She tells me everything is ok.
