Irony: Self-Destruct

How to Watch Your Soul Die

Smiles fade and eyes gray

Food remains in the pantry

Homework goes undone

Skinny

Motivation capsizes and presents itself with diligence

Only when the cleats are laced

 Or the screen illuminated

Stupid

Tears and ink flow simultaneously

Respective ducts refuse to endure inactivity

When the blue cap commands attention

Ridiculous

Sadness turns to anger which boils

Until it becomes cantankerous and controlling

The lights remain off, the doors remain shut, and the blinds remain closed

A Disappointment

A notebook of emotion

What happens when the last page has been turn to…

And scribbled over?
