For as cream rises atop ones cup,
justice prevails over the corrupt.
It lives within everyone,
an eternal light.
Communicating to ones conscience,
Unveiling whats right.
O\'mighty justice follows a code,
we recognize as the law.
Created in 1776
inside Independence Hall.
Although beautifully written,
actionless words will fall.
So we placed our nation under God,
ensuring justice for all.
For justice is colorblind,
seeing only black and white.
Encarcerating all who spread grey,
be it by day or by night.
Justice takes no glory,
Giving it all to a special few.
To our military and officers,
because like justice
They insure the law stands true.
Over the years as our society adapted,
so did justice for amendments were enacted.
From allowing women to vote,
to trashing slavery like an old coat
justice remains true,
for all citizens of the red, white and blue.
